EXIT Stage Left is produced by Emerging Artist Productions, a SF Bay Area group of filmmakers.
Initiated a few years ago when filmmakers Sinohui Hinojosa and Joel H Hinojosa teamed with producer Bernard Fok to establish a production house to work on commercial projects, short films and new media content, EAP quickly established itself as a source for high quality independent filmmaking.
After the production of the feature length documentary, Scare Me: Behind the Screams (which screened at Dreamland Village at the Sundance Film Festival in 2007), and the shorts Pod Nation and In Focus (screened at the Orinda and APAture Film Festivals, respectively), the team was joined by filmmaker and Director of Photography, Thomas A Koch (writer and director of How to Live with a Vegan Without Killing Them) and together they produced the award-winning short film, The Last Job, (shot in July of 2008 and now scheduled as feature length project for 2009, starring Derrick O'Connor).
Whether producing trailers and DVD featurettes for Cinevolve Studios, working on pre-production for new feature projects or getting ready to attend the Park City festivals in January 2009, where a short documentary film by Joel H Hinojosa was just picked up as an Official Selection of the Slamdance Film Festival (Little White Lines); Emerging Artist Productions continues to work on multiple projects, while managing the day to day production of EXIT Stage Left and the fictional story of The Lowry Theater Company in New York city.
The Big Apple never had it so good.
